“MANY FACES OF RUSSIAN CULTURE”

Many Faces of Russian Culture, an exciting and cultural evening will take place on January 29, 2010 at Paradise Restaurant (8836 Bustleton Avenue) in Philadelphia. This influential event celebrates 10 years of work by the Russian-Americans United Arts Council preserving the cultural heritage of the Russian-Speaking community in the Greater Philadelphia area.

The council will showcase “Many Faces of Russian Culture” through performances of our member groups and artists: Olga Kresina ballet school, International Ballet Theater, folk dance group “Bravo,” and exhibitions by painter Sergey Lukyanov, jeweler Irina Rogers and photographer Naum Chayer.   Other portions of the event will include: a slide-show presentation of the organization’s history, a silent auction, and dance marathon.

This event features our numerous supporters: businesses, artists, politicians, representatives of nonprofit organizations and members of media. A variety of authentic Russian food and drinks will be served for attendee enjoyment!
